Just had the tune tweaked last night after stall was installed last weekend. Wow what a difference on the truck. Would love to get to the track and see what I can run. Never been so it probably wouldn't net the best possible times for the truck, but might be close. Weather is cooling down here in OK so I need to go. Corvette servo came in also so that'll be installed over the weekend. Cheap pieces of the puzzle to help save some life on the 60e and help the sluggish 1-2 shift. Gathering funds to get cam and supporting parts ordered up.

by the time you spend the money getting a 5.3 to SQUEEK into the 12 second range with a lot of tweaking, you could spend less money on a 6.0 and blow right past the 13 second range without even trying.

Yeah I'm not looking to have the quickest track time.. As much as I want to throw a LQ9 or LS1 in it, I have another project that's a little higher on totum pole. Which is a ls3 for my 96 single cab. That one will be more directed for track setup. I'm just looking for a decently quick daily! But I agree, the 6.0+ would be the better option.

My truck was the one NC03GT was talking about. it went 13.2 with a milled 862 headed 5.3, 224/228 tsp cam, stock intake/tb, 4l80e with fti 3600 converter and 4.11s at 103mph. Truck wouldnt 60' any better than 1.88 though even on 28'' slicks. it made 328hp in 2nd gear on 22'' wheels back then. that was a few setups ago i cant keep up anymore lol
