little update..

Got my first real tune from Justin, just an 87/89 octane tune and a first try tcm tune. He did a VERY good job for the first tune without a data log. I sent a data log a little bit ago and hopefully he can get to it around the start of next week. That is if the log actually worked, the first log i sent him 2 weeks ago didnt turn out because my autocal wasnt configured properly.

And Idk if its my gearing but I definitely do NOT need to loosen my converter... That was the main thing i was worried about, spending 1k on a flippin converter. I have power everwhere i need it. LOVING this cam so far.

Also the headers make my exhaust sound so damn good, Sounds pretty normal up to around 2k rpm but after that it sounds amazing!

lol i will get some up this weekend. the annual drag races by where i live are in a few weeks so i will be going to that. only 1/8 mile at the airport. Not expecting any insanely good times and wont get too into setting my pickup up for it but it should be fun.

I just have to figure out this damn exhaust leak, its where the y pipe slips over the header, one of the slits to make it clamp down on the header must be cut a little too long because its leaking a good bit of air there. tried using a 2x4 to pry it on a little farther but didnt work. and i cant get a lap joint clamp to reach it. Also dont want to weld it but i guess a tack weld right there wouldnt hurt it..

Depending where it is you might be able to put a second band clamp over it to seal it....

ya im going to pick up a band clamp after work and put it on, The problem i think i will have is getting that channel plugged from that slot. the air follows the channel straight through the current clamp and out towards the header. maybe i can roll up a piece of aluminum and shove it in there then clamp it.

I wasn't thinking i would need to beings everything is a slip fit. could have got away with it if the slit wasn't cut so long.
