Ive seen similar setups, point is to keep the pinion from essentially trying to climb the ring gear, which causes the front of the leaf spring to bend, so i dont see why that wouldnt work... Most of the kits i have seen either weld to the axle tube or have a plate that bolts below the u bolt plate... Before you modify the top links... Figure out how long your bars need to be, they should be at roughly the same angle as your drive shaft... Most of the time they will come up right about where the rear cab mount is.... Basically as you look at your frame the first set of brackets (from the rear) in front of where the frame lifts up is about where you want them to mount...

Keeping angle the same helps to limit the amount of bind you have...

Not any real preload....https://static.summitracing.com/glob...st_2_19_08.pdf ... Follow the instructions for the fromt brackets... Basically in short, attach them to the rear and with truck on the ground witb weight on the wheels swing them up to frame and attach the front brackets with clampsand bolt on or weld... Bolt on would be easier in event you need to change them...
