Lol funny how that happens, my dod delete has turned into an l92 swap, adding VVT, planning on longtubes and (if i can find the funds) a blower, and a 6l80 swap.... Still kicking myself for not holding out for a tahoe or yukon with a 6l80 already in it!!!

i would consider giving up my camaro for a caprice... Those things are BADASS!! But be forewarned as many hours as they idle, they have a tendency to wipe the cam bearings.... Along with cam lobes.... So plan on a dod delete and a set of cam bearings

When i go get it, my plan is to drive it the rest of the summer, maybe put an exhaust on it then store it in the winter and pull the motor out. Then slowly tear it apart and build it up as the winter goes on. Not sure exactly what will be done to it, whether i am going to bore it or just cam with a blower... or both lol but i have some time to think about it

ya i think it would be pretty cool. My buddy i went to wyotech with has a 2012 as well. He has only done a homemade exhaust and a roto fab intake. But it has no problem setting you back in your seat. Its why i am considering a caprice.. barebones interior too.. no carpet just a rubber floor. Floor shifter auto with a plastic bare center console lol. Alot of potential for some cool modifications

So I got my headers and y pipe in!! Took a little over 4 hours. That included a celebratory drink every time we tightened a bolt lol!!! Looks great, my only problem is the guy who did my exhaust before cut the part where the stock y bolts to the intermediate pipe so I had to cut it and use a band clamp with some ultra copper.

Still not able to drive it... The tune to get me running was way too rich I think. Idk I couldn't tell. I'm leaning toward rich beings it smelled rich and it was really shooting some sort of liquid out the pipe. Didn't check if it was gas or not. But it was kind of bogged down it seems, like it was maybe a little lean at that point. Either way I got a 5 minute log to justin. Didnt go farther because I realized AFM was never shut off!!!!! so I quick shut it off and hauled it home
