Here's a video going down the strip

Same pass but of the suspension

Caltracs are definitely next on the list!

This has been by far the most fun project I've had to date

Thanks. I have a problem now. My water pump pulley spun most of the way off. Shredded a belt too.

Figured I'd throw up a pic of it in its current state.

Currently I have a 2011 Silverado with the 2300 Lysholm aswell,

5.3L CCSB 4WD
Frozen Boost Heat Exchanger
Bosch (Cobalt SS Intercooler Pump)
Larger OverFlow Tank
Aubrun Rear Diff (split the factory carrier in two at 20K)
Standard Lysholm Tune, Which is very poor.

I was Just wondering if you have done any intake work yet ? MAF solutions
and is that tensioner quiet in cold weather ? mine ticks at low temps.

I'm running a 3.25 pulley now and ended up switching back to the stock tensioner and a gates micro-v belt pn k081223. Its an 8 rib belt but I trimmed 2 ribs off. Long story short with the MTI tensioner, another idler would be needed between the crank pulley and tensioner. The distance is just too great between them and the motor winds up so fast that it was really beating up on belts with the small blower pulley. So far I've had zero issues with the set up on there now other than spinning the water pump pulley off.

I haven't done anything on the intake side yet but I've been stock piling stuff as of late and seeing how summer is almost over, I'll spend my winter chucking a bunch of money at the truck. I'll be updating as I go and post pics etc.

My winter To-Do list:

-90mm Throttle body
-4" intake
-DOD delete
-Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam
-SRT4 Stage 2 injectors (the injectors Lysholm supplies are SRT4 Neon)
-Methanol injection - I'm tied as to how I want to do this. The easiest approach is to spray pre blower but there's alot of speculation as to the meth eating the coating on the rotors or pitting the rotors. The other approach which I'd like to try is to make a phenolic plate with spray bars that's sandwiched between the two halves of the lower intake and also raise the heat exchanger up. The biggest issue going the phenolic plate route is that I have about a half inch of room between the blower and the cowl. I'd have to have some body work done on the cowl to clearance for the added height. I guess the question is- What will perform better? Cooling the blower by spraying pre or the anti knock benefits of spraying post?
-I'd like to try adding a second stock fuel pump on a Hobbs switch like smokeshow did.
-Caltracs
-Free up the exhuast either by using a factory 6.2 cat back or modify my Duramax "cat" back.
-Of course re tune it.

Thoughts on the Duramax? I have it tucked up and not hanging out like a stock Dmax truck. Don't mind my mug
