Default NNBS bumper piece?

In the middle of my 2010 silverado's bumper there is a chrome piece, is it possible to replace this with a black one to match my truck or do I have to get a whole new bumper?

you can buy a painted one from GM, LTZ's come with the piece painted or you can buy a paintable one from GM. You can also take it apart and paint it like Berger says.

Where can I buy one from GM? Do they just come off of your bumper? Could you give me a site where I can order one?

You're talking about the bumper bar with the slot in it, right? Just talk to the bodyshop at any GM dealership and find a good price. Mine was chrome but I had a paint to match one installed.

its in your owners manual under the 4x4/ driving offroad section.
2 screws and 10 clips I beleive.

I am not talking about the center piece with the slot in the middle of it, I am talking about the plastic piece below that , in the center, surrounding the tow hooks, where the front licence plate would be. (if i had one)
