Lightbulb New holley manifold for 6.2

Anybody know if somebody has tested one of these as yet? Not sure whether Holley has actually released them as yet??

Looks to be a serious setup for either a centrifugal blower or Nitrous. But it would be very interesting to see how it performs on a cammed stock block and head combo...

Read a little about it yesterday on the Camaro forums. Sounded like they were still unavailable save a few sample units. It will be interesting to see if it can produce any gains and how affected it is by heat soak.

Think there is a guy on here who has one of the cathedral port ones on his truck....

By the way i would love to have one of these.. Makes it look like an old Tuned Port engine...

It looks like a cross between the Edelbrock Pro Flo XT manifold (cathedral port) and a Beck sheet metal one that I saw a while back on a big cube GTO. The pics that I have seen of the inside of the plenum looks pretty good for a casting. Nice smooth radius into the runners like a sheet metal manifold. you can aslo buy just the base and put differnet tops for twin carbs, custom TB's etc on it. With some porting, this thing should run real good with nitrous, especially on 400+ cubic inch motors. I don't get why Holley doesnt see the sense in plunking one on a L92 with a cam and headers and dynoing it and publishing the numbers. Unless they have done already, and it doesn't make any power...

I think results will be similar to a vic jr, super high rpm potential, big power 6000 +. It would be easier to run stock style tb though since no elbow would be needed.

I've emailed them and a couple of the vendors that will be selling them to find out when the release date is and what cost they will be, but have not heard back from any of them yet.

Looks like there going to be available in a 92mm version (300-116) and a 102mm version (300-117).
