Do you mind posting your tune for review? I wouldn't think it was something in there, but who knows.

If you have hpt, you go to advanced reply instead of quick reply and upload it as an attachment under manage attachments. I am curious to what this could be...

I'm not familiar with HP tuners, can you upload just the engine tune file?

Can you post a log showing the misfire, timing, TB%, maf, etc? Have you tried a full flash, re-writing the OS and all? Maybe something is having a glitch in the ECM, you could try a spare ecm. Probably have to burn a license tho just to test.

So it's only having trouble at exactly 47% throttle? Thats some weird ****!

Yep...

7.325" is in it now.
Put a 7.200" in it and there is no contact with the valve.
Slap a 7.250 in the intake and it compresses the valve a little so it is too long. Slap the same 7.250 in the exhaust and bam i get enough preload without pushing the valve ope..
So i look online all over an no one stocks or makes a 7.225 so my builder is having a set made.

what did your measurement end up being to zero lash?
I ended up needing 7.275" for 0.050" preload

so you think the misfire was your valve staying open? thatd be a crazy find if thats what it ends up being!
how long is it gonna take to have a set made?

Dont put your preload at 050 the lifter needs 030 or 035.

The valves are staying open
