i havent tried a stock tb yet. although yes it is on the old cam tune but no it never misfired at all. no issues with it. all i did was put a converter in it this time. i swapped oem injectors back in and the 1 i thought was the miss wasnt it. i put it on #1 and the misfire is still on #2.

area47 changed all kinds of crap. along with the MAP/MAF tables. the truck is driving around right now with the DTC misfire table maxed out so the truck doesnt freak out. it drives around with a light misfire when i do that but it'll hold that misfire at 47% for as long as i hold it at 47% no matter what gear.

Misfire eh? Hmm sounds like fun. Well to quote the old broken record I think id start old school on this and add a bunch of grounds to begin with. Only makes a good thing better even if you dont need them. Plus 99% of the time when theres a wiring issue ( not saying you have one ) but when there is a wiring issue its almost always a ground problem.

As for what to sort out in the tune? Have you logged the misfire and posted up the file over at HP?

Have you checked the wiring where you extended your harness for your coils? Could be a cold soldier joint or something in the wiring.

If you ran the tr55s and it done the same thing, then I doubt the tr6's would help either. With your current setup, I would stay with either the tr55 or the tr6 though...Are you tuning with hptuners or efilive?
