Default In-line fuel filter

hey guys i have a 2008 ccsb silverado 5.3, i am curious about to if these trucks have a in-line fuel filter. I am going to take my truck to the track to get a baseline before LT, Y-pipe, and some other mods. Just wanted to do all i can to get a strong base run, so any suggestions to get my truck running tip top at the track already doing a oil change and plugs. Thanks for your time.

No fuel filter, its built onto the fuel pump. How many miles does your truck have?

You probably don't even need to do the plugs but it can't hurt. At that mileage you may want to do a trans service if you haven't yet.

There are others here far more qualitied to make that estimate for you. I'm sure they will pop in later and give you an idea of what to expect.
