Marked off area hasnt not been measured, its a stretch outside of town, from the stop sign to the first power pole.Ive tested everying thing on that strip for years.

Interesting. I'd need to trap at what, about 100 to clock a mid-13 in a truck like this?

101-102 is what you will need for a mid 13 with a decent (1.9ish) 60ft. Joe at Leftcoast 32 sells TVS1900s for a little under 6000 I believe. Go ahead and order a 2.8 pulley for it too and Id bet just with a tune and a TVS1900 with a 2.8 pulley you would see your mid 13 if nto low 13 in good weather.

Hey those 13.4s were with some of the weight back on, like all the rear plastics, tail gate, etc.

No real trans tuning has been done yet so I'm thinking Allen will shave off another .2-.3 tenths at least once he dials it in like my CC 6 speed is dialed in.

But as stated above TVS/Headers/Tune and you're there for sure.

Of course that would get me there, but that's at least $7-8k in parts alone. I was hoping for maybe $3k or less. Oh well, maybe I'll just hit it with the intake, headers, and tune and keep an eye out for the V6 pony cars.

Yes and actually its only a partial tune, haven't started dialing in the 6 speed transmission yet at all, I know we will see another .2 to .4 tenths improvement there as that's where a lot more is left on the table. I know this because we were able to do it on my 2010 CC that only had the 5.3 6L80 combo.

I did have over 600 lbs of weight reduction done, but now it's right around 400ish.

My truck weighs right at 4700 and I weigh 275 so my race weight is around 4975.

I ran the times posted below at this weight and with the following mods.

Nelson Tune, Volant CAI, Magnaflow Muffler, Deleted CATS.

As far as weight reduction here is what is removed from my truck.

Spare Tire
Storage Bin
Trailer Hitch
Jack & Tools
Spare Tire Winch
Factory Lift Blocks
Tow Hooks
Stock Muffler
3rd Cat & Flexpipe
Front Cats
Rear Seats
Rear Seats Belts

I did have all back plastics removed, tail gate, and center console for the SAR event but I had already put those item back on and they add up to around 125 lbs.

Default How serious are you?

OK, Kevin, that's a very impressive weight reduction program. But I need to know if you're as serious as some of the guys I used to go to the track with in my youth. They would go racing with JUST enough gas in the tank to get there and race, and carry a 5-gal Jerry can to get home on. Are you that dedicated to lbs/hp?
