Calling all 6.2 ECSB and CCSB owners...

Not to say a super isnt a good option but, it seems to me that for the money a cam install would be more cost effective especially when combined with headers vs a supercharger. If you can get somewhat comparable power from bolt ons with a cam as you can from a out of the box supercharger for about half the price and get the desired results seems a super would be overkill.
Just my two cents but im more of a NA guy anyway...

I've liked the idea of camming the L92 since I first thought about picking one up. However, popping the hood to reveal that LS9 setup would be pretty sick, with a ridiculous level of torque-producing potential

I seen a red one at a car show with a nasty cam. Was a beast. It has those red corvette covers on the motor and it looked pretty nice.

Will that setup bolt right in? that would be cool if you could piece everything together properly, I imagine ls9 serpentine brackets would be different though. I mean if you've got the time and money to find a way to make that work it would be cool as hell.
My problem is that when i have the time i have no money, and when i have the money I have no time. I really dont want to take my truck appart time and time again for trial and error fiting only to find i need way more stuff than i originally thought, too much time and effort for me. especially for me to try something on my daily driver and still take the chance with driveability/durability issues after the mods are done. I think for a daily driver its best to choose something more complete and tested. However my weekend cruiser on the other hand would naturally demand more attention and maybe something a bit out of the ordinary such as this. It could possibly be almost as easy or easier than a normal superchargewr kit to install i dont know. Maybe you could set the trend with the ls9 set up, hell who knows. I can only imagine the look on peoples faces when they see the vette zr1 super under the hood of a truck. I have a kind of speed crazed look seeing the zr1 super under the hood of the zr1 period or even just by seeing a zr1 on the highway. even better if i get to just drive next to one on the highway. Hopefully in the near future we will be able to find a cheap roots style supercharger alternative with a similar configuration as the ls9's. Kind of like how cheap it is for a basic turbo set up i dunno maybe Im dreaming. ls9 supercharger is 7k on ebay right now so i doubt that will be an option until they come out with something better...by then i probably wont own my current truck and it will be illegal to buy petroleum based fuels.

I'm not sure how much work it would be, but I like the idea of having a positive-displacement blower on a truck with these L92/LS3 heads. You could really set it up for some monster torque, and make these trucks capable of putting many more cars in the mirrors.

I have a ccsb 4x4 6.2 with custom tune, 3.5inch cutout, and volant intake.. On a passport timer I ran a 13.8 (stock 18s) but they are not 100% accurate. Then I threw on 20inch moto metal rims and 33 inch nitto terrain grapplers.. I dropped to around a 14.5 then. So getting a mid 13 second 6.2 on 33s is not going to be easy without internals or forced induction. But good luck!!

You could damn near run one of those from a dig to 45-50 and beat them as it is if just put it in 4wd and stall it up. I have a friend who has a truck similar to yours with 20" wheels and 33's. Raced several fox bodies and lt1's and can out run them till about 45ish when they start pulling back up by 60 they have caught up and are passing if they arent nodded. It seems older sports cars that are stock are harder to find than modded ones. It's just the take off that gets them but still it's a 5200lb truck vs 3400 lb car. And from stop light to stop light traction is mostly what you need to win anyway especially from a dig. That can't be said for my truck cause it's 2wd and it will spin bad if a stall it at all.
