mark, my ypipe looks identical to what coban posted. my headers and y pipe were labeled for an escalade. not that it makes a difference anyways.

as far as the track times go. keep working at it man, you'll get it!

Thanks, I wouldn't have sent Kooks back if my y-pipe had looked like yours.

At highway speeds I thought Vararam was great, but when parked or staging those 5'' scoops heat soak quick. Since your 1/4 mile time is mostly determined in the 60' I chose the cooler IAT's coming out the hole...

I took the passenger side Varrram scoop and fed into the AFE air filter box/shield. I tried to tune it but the scoop made so much turbulence the tach would bounce decelerating. I covered the scoop and drivability was good again. Maybe if we had totally sealed box connected to "one" well engineered scoop we could get the best of both worlds...Anyone handy with AutoCad?

Nice runs guys! I may be getting a 6.2 CCSB 4x4 with 3.73s within the next couple of weeks, so I was checking to see where it should sit stock. I want to mod, but I have no interest in immediately voiding the warranty on a brand-new, $40k truck. Any warranty-retaining mods that are worth doing? Anybody have some solid experience on where GM draws the line?
