Last year I was fortunate enough to make it to the semi's - had my opponent beat, only like the dumd-a$$ I am I kept my boot in it and broke out. My truck was getting quicker and faster every round.

If I can just keep my itchy foot from red-lighting, LOL!

What color is your truck, Kevin? I'm easy to spot - a 300# silver-haired fat boy driving a pig-slow Silver Birch '08 Denali with Yukon 20s. Most likely I'll be pitting with a couple of my Houston buds - one has a blue SSR, and the other an early 60's Chevy P/U, mostly in primer - but with a stout small block and a Muncie 4-speed.

Here's a shot of my SD . . .
Sounds like we should get a long just fine then, here's a shot of my truck.

I don't know how to do that fancy small pic post jedi mind trick you did?

Talking

Man - your truck is GORGEOUS, Kevin. I can't own a black truck - too damned hot in the summer, and I'm WAY too lazy to keep it clean, LOL!

Small pic post jedi mind trick - now THAT'S funny, LOL! Damn near fell out of my chair I laughed so hard at that comment . . .

Actually, instead of linking to a pic hosting service, one can upload a pic from one's PC to the forum, and it shows as a thumbnail until you click on it.

I'll keep an eye out for you at Neslon's deal @ SAR.

BTW - how's Dallas Raceway? I heard that it as a nice track, but might have been in some kind of financial trouble?

Dallas Raceway is real nice, practically brand new still. Yeah they have had some issues in the past getting it built, completed, etc...now we are always on their butts to have it open so we can give our hard earned money to be there and help them make money...seems they are just now getting it and opening every weekend.

Haha, damn that's a nice little feature you just taught me now I feel like a .

Learn sumptin' new every day, eh? If only it were that easy for me to learn to tune my own truck . . .

Never knew where Mabank was until I just google-mapped it. Your just a bit down 175 from Dallas Raceway, right? Isn't it located near Crandall?

We are like 20 minutes from the track and you are correct the track is in Crandall, just about 2 miles right outside the actual small city part.

Damn - nice to have a 1/4 mile track that close - I can only wish . . .

From my home in the Richmond area, I'm over an hour from Lonestar Motorsports Park (Hennessey's place) in Sealy, about the same to HRP in Baytown, and about 3 hours from SAR in Marion.

Those times are all with no traffic tie-ups, of course. When are there no tie-ups in the Houston area?

3/4

2" BellTech Spindles and 1" BellTech Drop Coils in front.

2" BellTech Shackles and 2" McGaughy Lowering Leafs in back.

I might have a set of 2" McGaughy Lowering Leafs for sale pretty soon.
