Damn - that 3" Kooks Y-pipe kinda sucks, doesn't it. Truth be told, it MAY not be MUCH of a restriction, though.

I need to peek under mine and see what the ARH Y looks like, though if memory serves me - I believe that theirs is a 3.5" Y.

Mark - check my runs #2 & #3 - nearly identical 60's to the slip you posted, but mines already WAY behind yours by 330'! Mine weighs more of course, but . . .

I couldn't go WOT on these tires until 25-30mph, that's why my 60' sucked. I posted the Kooks Y-pipe (single 3'')becuase that's what Area47 is running, he's the fastest 6.2L to date that. Maybe the AR Y-pipe is a little too open...I ordered a new y-pipe with 2.5'' after the collector vs 3'' . Dual 2.5'' will still outflow a single 3.5''

Area47, does your y-pipe look like the one I posted or the one Coban posted?

Yep - now that Gonzo posted those pics - that's exactly how my ARH Y-pipe looks.

Thanks, Gonzo!

Lloyd
aside from the Ypipe the headers(kooks vs ARH) look like they came from the same manufaturing plant, down to the flange design, which I think this is the best flange ever built on an aftermarket header, seals light and has give not rigid.

Agreed, Gonzo.

Never seen a set of Kooks in person, but from the pics they DO appear to be VERY similar in materials and construction . . .
