Default Walked a BMW 328i

Anyone know any performance specs about these? My friend has one stock cept for exhaust...we were on the freeway at about 10pm, got three runs. 1st two we started around 80 so the truck only downshifted into 3rd and we were dead even. 3rd run we started at 75, got it to drop to 2nd, and I walked him up to 105 or so (can't tell after the speedo maxes at 100). When I let off he was several car lengths back. What are the 1/4 mile times for these cars?

I know they're running a straight six in them. Was it a new one? Edmunds test a 99 and said it ran a 14.9 e/t @ 98mph with Hp of 193 @5500rpm with 0-60 in 6.3. The 05's are now the 325ci and 330ci and they got 184 horses and 225. HMMM??? German Engineering I guess

they may only have 190 hp but my friends 99 328 puts down 187hp and 200tq to the wheels. I thought his was pretty quick! Until I smoked him in the new truck By the way nice kill

maybe the one i drove was a 4 banger. I never popped the hood to look. The sales man offered for me to test drive it so we just hopped in. I was thinking it should have been alot faster so maybe i didnt get to drive the 6 cyl. Who knows? Good kill though!! Sorry i didnt say that earlier..

Edmunds is wrong. The 328 is a descent running car but not that good. A 330 may run that good. It also depends on the year 328 for what powre thay have. The bigger bimmers like the 545 and 745 run much better. Only reason I know is I work on them every day. I wouldnt worry about that 328 intill he gets a dinnan supercharger, then you might not want to mess with him.
