Boosting a L92
#1
I have a L92 that I'm looking to supercharge, I'm only looking to make around 550hp currently. I've seen a few post about boosting LS3/L92s and they all seem to run the stock bottom end. From my 0 experience on boosting, a 10.5:1 compression ratio is pretty high for a engine with no forged parts in it?

It's not really that high of compression to be honest, people have been doing superchargers and turbo chargers on stock engines for decades now.
The stock bottom end can handle well over 800hp without much of a worry with proper fueling and tuning. You can slap a supercharger on that 6.2 and not really care, have the correct supporting mods for fueling and with a good tune it will last a long long time.

Most people on here don't speak Finnish.
With these engines being an American product, most of us use English as our primary language, although some of us can read or even speak many others. But you'll usually get better response if you post in English.
