Sounds nice, but this is GM we are talking about...

They better make it available across the board in any trim level, or don't even waste their time.

I would dump both of my S10s if they do it right and reasonably priced.
Can you imagine the HP capability of a Colorado with a 5.3 based V8???

Default Colo SS?

It's entirely possible that they come out with this V8 Colorado. After all, it is on the same platform as the SSR and Trailblazer, both of which have V8s, or in the Trailblazer's case, a V8 option. Finally, a better engine than the crappy five cylinders that love to blow the heads or spin bearings when you beat on them too hard. Can any one say Colorado SS?

I'd be interested in one as long as you can get one in a regular cab.....however, the General is notorious for dropping the ball on these kind of things. I'm not gonna' hold my breathe, although it would be one *** kickin' little truck.

I agree. I really doubt GM will sell a 5.3 powered RCSB Colorado. The General always lets us down when it comes to things like this. If GM couldn't build a RCSB Silverado SS, what makes you think they will sell a 5.3 RCSB Colorado?? My guess is the 5.3 will only be available in a Z71 package.....crew cab and extended cab body styles. Also, I bet the PCM tune will be severely detuned with alot of Torque Management. This really isn't a big deal however since programming software is available.

Really? That blows.....I wouldn't want one then, but that's just my opinion. I think the RCSB Colorado's looks pretty slick, but the bigger they get the less I like them.
