turning off beep when doors open?

Default turning off beep when doors open?

guys, i guess this can go here.. but on my 04 when i have the acces key on and the doors open i cant stand that damn beep sound. Is there anyway to turn that damn thing off?

i know its coming thru the speakers unlike the obs that had a little box under the dash that you could pull out. the dealer might could do it for you with the techII

yep, built in the radio, the quickest easiest way to be rid of it is to get an aftermarket radio

Is this true? Did you do the aftermarket radio on yours and it when away?

I never heard of that. I tought it was something else.

Click the latch shut on the door...just don't forget to open it again before you try to close the door.

It works in my 01, hopefully it will work in your 04.

Get an aftermarket stereo and the chimes are gone. You can get a kit to keep the chimes but its better without them.

yep open the door and close the door latch works for 04's also. but like stated before pull on door handle before you close the door so it will open the latch so it will close.

u can cut the wires. im not at my house but if u pull the stock face out theres a yellow black and grey, one of them is in charge of the tones. i used to have them but cut them out cause they tooo annoying.
