my test was done with cruise control at 75 mph on the way there. On the way home I used cruise most of the time at 80 but occasionally kicked it off to hit 85. I have no control over the way my wife drives but she is no speed demon. Also in the past 3.5 years I have owned the tahoe I have kept close watch on the mileage. I have never.......repeat never seen more than 18.2 mpg since we have owned this vehicle.

I will also add the tahoe has just a hair over 40k miles and got the 18.2mpg when it was new. I then saw a slight but steady decline in gas mileage up unitl I ran this test.

How do you guys get that kind of mileage??? Even when I drive nice I'm lucky to hit 15 mpg.

From what i've read so far on this forum, ( I'm not bashing Radix) it looks like the Radix is giving good Hp and TQ but hurting gas mileage were as the turbo has helped mileage. Good example https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=305357 Radix towing 3500lbs.= 11 mpg vs. STS towing 8500lbs.= 14 mpg

But even before the Radix I was about the same. My very first tank of gas ever (got the truck with 8 miles on it) I was about 16, never again since then.

Sometimes you get a good one and sometimes you don't. I was lucky, mine always got decent mileage for a HD. I have a buddy of mine that has the same truck i have and never got above 10 mpg. Before i put the turbo on i never got above 12 mpg towing.

Uh, ok.
I still don't think it does anything from what you guys are saying. You guys are reporting increases of 1 to less than two miles to the gallon increases which don't necessarily mean it's the acetone. It's one thing if you got a 10MPG increase, but barely two? That could mean anything...

If you got 18 mpg and jumped to 28 mpg, that would be over a 50% increase in gas mileage. Going from 18 to 19.8 would be a 10 % increase. Looks like it works pretty darn good to me.

My point was that I don't think it's the acetone, but I could be wrong of course. You don't have to agree with me but I think other factors are probably influencing the increase more than the acetone.
