squeaking when let off brakes

Default squeaking when let off brakes

hey guys i put nice EBC brakes and a new caliper on the left but the brakes squeak on left when i let off brakes

what could this be from ?

Take the tire off and push the brake while you look at it, then see what makes the noise.

Grease anything that is needed, be it the slides or the metal tins.

Default inspected rt brakes

i have un even pad wear on the right side caliper one pad was more thin than the othere and these are new
EBC pads too , i greases the d=shims with bearing grease and the sueak came back same night ..... i dont know what is causing this ...?

There is a TSB from GM for the rear brakes from 99-06 and 07-13 for the rear brake slides and front brake slides. Their brake lube dries and locks up the slide. Go to napa and get the Purple Brake Grease (High heat formula ) and the issue is gone.

Sounds like something is maybe hanging up on the right side.... Which pad is worn more the inner or outer.... You may need to replace the right caliper is youve already replaced the left....

replaced right caliper and its still squeeking and i put some bearing grease across shims latter still squeeks????

Is the pad slide touching the rotor??

You also have to remember that the parking brake is inside the rotor . Did you clean and lube the parking brake assembly?
