Default escalade/SUV rear brake upgrade question

Looking at this all-inclusive powerstop kit for the rears. It uses a 30mm thick rotor instead of the 28mm thick one found on typical tahoes. Just want to confirm that this will directly bolt up to the stock truck backing plates with no clearance issues? Thanks

Sure will. I put the thicker rotors and matching calipers on my truck.

Kit says they are just reman/stock calipers. Must be some magic in those pads and the red powder coat.
"20 Percent More Stopping Power Than Other Brands"

Easy upgrade to dual piston though if just bolt up.

Im putting stock brakes on because I can't pass inspection without ebrake. Got a nutjob inspector who followed everything to the book.

I'm sure the dual piston rears will be much stronger than these little OBS brakes.

The whole kit is $340. Reman loaded calipers are $115 each and then add in rotors and i wouldn't be saving much.

Or keep paying $7 and find a different inspection place

The 28mm rotors are for tahoe the 30mm are from a suburban.... Oddly they use the same caliper and bracket.... Only thing you should have to do is either trim the backing plate up some or get some for a tahoe/butban withdual piston rears....

You have to have an parking brake to keep the truck from rolling downhill if the parking pawl fails or the truck comes out of park...

ended up just buying the regular kit. stock calipers and flat rotors with oe ceramic pads. $100 cheaper. I have no need for the fancy rotors or red calipers.
