Run out of gas with 6 gals in tank, twice! Fuel pump?
#21
There's a TSB or memo or whatever to replace the connector with an updated version when you change out the pump. It's for the square connector. I think you have that one. Not sure if it is related to your problem or not though. http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pd...tsb_05D-83.pdf
Nevermind. It says excludes Flex Fuel. *foot in mouth*

Replaced the pump today. Time will tell if this one is any better.
Side note, the locking ring on the top was a b*tch to get back on using channel locks. I went to O'Reillys to get the special tool for it, but they initially had no idea what I was talking about, then looked it up and found it in the warehouse only, so no help there. And I did it with about half a tank of gas (no choice, have to ship the old one back to Amazon by the 24th), and must have spilled a few gallons out after disconnecting the filler hose, but luckily cleanup was easy, just wait half an our and it's gone
Had a fire extinguisher handy just in case.
