Which is the right e-fan to use....
#1
I have a 5.3l with 60cc Patriot Heads and the ls1 fans that i have I don't think are doing the job. We're still getting a little warm under the hood sitting in traffic.
I also have a 34" Genesis Aluminum radiator, new water pump and stat.
Would the fans from a 2500 or 4x4 do the trick, and could I use the same wiring harness?
Thanks... Lisa

Engine temp. I have an Aeroforce gauge and I have it set for the engine and trans. Trans is normally below 20-30 degrees from engine.
Last week I was sitting in traffic on the highway, and I hit 230 on the engine. That's a little high for me, and it was only in the high 70's that day.
And I have the 50/50 Dex-cool as well.
