B/c it will probably be easier to just pull the old and put in new... I thought about fixing it, but I'm not good at figuring out the wiring.

Lisa, IDK stock CFM fan ratings, maybe someone can dig em up for ya, dealer maybe?
FWIW, my e-fans were $150 from an '05 'Hoe. I'd hoped for $125, but I wanted to do the swap, so I didn't wanna keep waitin, but it'd be a good score in the $100-150 range. W/. all the trucks round Houston, should be pretty common in a 'yard.
And yes, I know as it gets warmer down there, ya wanna fix it before too long. 230° is a lot!!!

IDK how long ya been running your current e-fans, but do ya know if they were configured for a 2 pin setup & the tune set that way. My guess if Charlie or Justin did the harness & tune, then yes. What are fan settings on & off, Fan 1 & 2?

If you do source from an 05+ truck, go ahead and get the harness from that truck, too

My 05+ truck fans have been absolutely flawless (knock on wood). If you find that one of your fan motors isn't working, I'd take the opportunity to upgrade to some 05's. You can use your existing harness, just need to change the plugs to the fans. I had some plugs not too long ago but sold them, so I can't help you there

Another thing to consider is your fan turn on/off settings...if the truck is heating up, and the fans aren't turning on (assuming that the fan motors are both functioning), you might need to turn the fans on a little sooner, or have them run a little longer...

I would definitely run the factory fans and factory harness. I always had nothing but issues with my flex-a-lites and the FAL harness.

The factory fans on my 07 have worked flawlessly.

1/4" female spade terminals work good.. atleast thats whats on my fans
I had a brush mess up on my LT1 fans years ago and it would struggle to turn half speed and made bad noises.. but up to that point i never had any problems.

Might want to check and see if both fans are turning when they are suppose to....

Hey guys.. so this is what I've come up with... it isn't the fans. Yeah.. the 2nd fans turned on at 174 and I watched for 10 mins, temp didn't budge.
I even watched the 50/50 Dex and made sure there wasn't any air pocket in the line (gave a little burp), and the temp still didn't budge.
Hubby told me to buy a pony(helper) fan to mount on the front of the radiator. So now we'll see.
Thanks for the posts.. I will keep you updated.
