Default Regency silverado Vs. me

I'm pretty sure i know the answer to this but i'm not positive.

There is a kid in the town next to me running around with one of those 5 speed regency trucks, bodykit, 20's. etc.. We were driving opposite directions the other day and he pops a rev at me, i actually had an appointment i was on my way to so I couldn't do anything about it. In a race would i kick his *** or get mine handed to me?

My mods are: LT's, magnaflow x-pipe, dual bullets, Volant intake, MSD wires. Currently it's untuned. I'm running stock wheels with 275/60/17's. It's also a 5.3 4x4.

He's got whatever regency puts on their trucks.

I think the 3.42's are going to hurt you. If you had 4.10's and a tune I think you might get him.

I dunno, my truck was like a regency when I first got it but with smaller wheels so it should have been quick. My truck was a complete dog in my book until I threw a cam in it. My dad's 4.3L work truck had more torque than I did. Then again, I think stock 5.3's are dogs too. just nevermind my post.

I do have smaller tires than stock though, just wider. So that should have the effect of being geared shorter.

Just FYI, we just sold a Regency 2WD and it had the nice 20's and stuff, but it was a 5.3 with the ol' Magan Charger under the hood. It's the 3rd one we've sold like that. So, make sure he don't have the Charger option.

i didnt think the rst was available with a supercharger? if he doesnt shift well, then you will have him with the torque against that 4.8. also too, is it an +05? or 03-04? if its an 03-04, then you would have your mods plus e-fans on him. 20" steels will slow him down too.

from a dig your 5.3 might get him by about maybe 1 truck if he doesnt have a tune. from a roll hes lighter with 2wd vs 4x4 so dont know. just get a tune and hes done, well just my .2 cents
