Default new track times with stall and tune

well i went to the track today to see how my new stall and tune helped out. i didnt get a chance to take the hard tonnou off or the tailgate so the time is with daily driving weight.

60ft 2.193
330ft 6.322
1/8th 9.805
mph 70.64
1000' 12.797
1/4 15.344
mph 88.04

it was ran in 2wd with minimal spin. i heated up the tires and they seemed to stick good. i tried 4wd and got a 15.4 my worst run.

my old best time was a 15.78 and that was on race weight.

not to shabby, but i think when spring comes i will be upgrading stalls to a 3000 or 3200 not sure yet. i will install it when i get my head work done. that way i wont have any issues about the top bolt for the trans.

That is a kick *** gain! You might see anouther tenth or more from the 3200 also. You had the trailblazer tall, right? I am going to use my truck to tow my boat (21 ft), so I need a converter that will hold for towing.

Nice times. What were your mph and 60' before the stall and tune?

Great job! You'll get used to it and the times will drop some more! Keep it up.

i think i would have more of a tenth with 3200. but not positive. yup i had the trailblazer stall. this stall would probably be perfect for you.

i wish i could find the slip but i cant the 60ft were around 2.3-2.4 and mph were 86.xx.

i got 3 runs in i wish i could have got more i wanted a 15.1-15.2 but it was that last day and they kept on having to clean the track because everyones **** was breaking. i got about 1 run an hour.

i couldnt get to one of the top bolts taht hold the trans to the motor. it was a bitch i had 3 other people try it to. then i had my buddy that has pulled his trans twice get it in. you need a swivel and about a 10in extension. its not that bad when you know how to do it.

If you plan on pulling your trans any more it might be worth getting a trans extension. Their about 24 to 35 " long and makes getting the bolts out alot easier.

is it a socket extension. probably then next time i pull the trans it will be when the heads are off, then i Wont have a problem getting to that bolt. but who knows i really just need to save my money and pay off some credit cards.
