need some help with electrical problems
#1
i am currently having some issues with my 2004 regency rst and figured you guys could help
1:
for my 2004 chevy regency rst the oil pressure gauge on the cluster isnt working properly (it is not staying steady some days it will work others days it will and on those days it will peak or completely bottom out where its pointing towards the gas gauge below it).
is there a short? how could i diagnose/fix the problem? sinces its electrical related should i take it to a pro?
and every once in a while my voltage gauge and gas and temperature gauge will do the same thing.
2:
on my temperature instrument panel, the part where you can adjust it hot/cold air for the passenger side: one of the light is out, should i take it out and replace the bulb myself? or should i also just get a new one
i appreciate any help.

there was a recall or tsb on gauge clusters acting the way your describing (sticking or weird acting stepper motors). think they extended the recall or tsb timeframe so it might still be going on check with your dealer.
i was informed of this by the person i bought my truck off of when i got the truck. i decided to get a escalade cluster instead of waiting to see if it would happen, so i have no personal experience with said problems but know they exist. hope that helps

went to the dealership today, i can still get it fixed under the warranty but since Regency is out of business, they can only replace it with the stock one, =/
so i just opted out of it, and send it out to someone to get it fixed
