does anyone know the an fitting size for 3/8's if im not misteaking that the fuel n return lines are 3/8's this on a 91 silverado

think of AN as always having a denominator of 16, so if someone says -6, they mean 6/16 or 3/8ths...

Each number equals 1/16.

-1AN is 1/16

-2AN is 2/16 or 1/8

-3 is 3/16

-4 is 4/16 or 1/4

and so on!

AN stands for Army Navy fitting

....and dont mix AN and JIC fittings, even though both are 37 degree flare, the base radius is different

AN 6 = is the same ID as the ID of a 3/8 tube.

Your first post and you're completely wrong. Since you are dealing in tubing, it is the OD not ID.
