No mine came in great shape..The fans will fit about perfect behind your radiator.. You set them so they rest on the core support. Now I know alot of guys say that these( pic added) will cause leaks.. If they are not installed proper, I would agree they might.. But it is kinda hard for a plastic line to break a metal tube.. Anyway if you do it, get some good sticky side industrial weather strip(foam) cut pieces that cover the corners of the fan shroud.. Then put them tabs through the rad, the shroud. Pull them in snug, do not over do it. 2 years of daily driving, a few 130mph blast, a ton of 110-120 mph runs, NOT A SINGLE PROB.
I think it is a cleaner install then the brackets people make, looks about as factory as you can get. Now if you want to look factor oem, buy a 34'' rad, the fans from a 05 up truck...

I have never over heated ever.. It's has warmed up 1 time on me to about 230, when I was sitting in traffic, like STOPPED on a 110 deg day for 45mn or so.. Now for the kicker, that was with only 1 fan hooked up.. So what I am saying is they are more then enough
