Default Electric Fans

Ok so I have heard a rumer that you can use elctric fans from an 05-06 chevy truck and use them on an 04 chevy truck is this true?

that is true. You also need the radiator as well.

Another good option is trick sells a shroud and set of fans for a damn good price, they look good too. You can have your ECM programmed to turn them on also, it's what I'm going to do when I get them and have BB retune my truck.

You can also use the fans out of an ls1 firebird/camaro with your current radiator. You'll still need a harness and tune to control the fans through the PCM.

Ok so doing elctric fans there is a lot of differant options. I just want it to were I dont have to worry about it over heating. and I always let people borrow m y truck so wiring in a switch in the cab is a no no

I talked to Rich @ Trick, and he told me that the 14" econo setup would work fine for me, and we have days where the temperature gets to 100-110 in the summer as I'm sure you have in OK. I also told him I do some light towing on top of that, he assured me that the 14" econo would be fine, and the shoud+fans is something like 210 bucks shipped.

This is correct, no matter which fans you choose, if you want the PCM to control them (which I feel is the best way to go imho), you'll need the harness and tune.
