Default E fans/34" Radiator questions?

I have an 03 1500 HD and it has the 34" core radiator, with a clutch fan.Is this the same radiator everyone is using for the swap?So all I would need is the fans, harness, relays and tune?Anyone run cooler thermostat with this.Im not sure if there is a prob with my clutch, because i can feel the huge power difference when it kicks in,but sitting in traffic today for 1 hour with outside temp at 95* it got to 240* and A/C stoppped working also.

Yes that is the same radiator. All you would need is the harness and fans and tune.

I'd just buy or build one of the available harnesses from BlackBear or Nelson and have the PCM tuned to control the fans, best, most reliable way to control the fans IMO. You can get the harness for about $100, and have a basic mail order PCM tune from BlackBear for $200, or $250 and a deposit for a scan cable tune. Wheatley is another excellent tuner, not sure on his pricing though.

I had 2 harnesses from Nelson and both melted down, supposedly that problem no longer exist but would not risk trying it. My harness from BB has been rock solid!

I've heard of issues with the Nelson harness relays, first time I've heard of actual harness problems. I have one of his early harnesses, and it's been working great since 05. I did smoke some relays last summer, after my truck had sat for 18 months and I got it back up and running. I have new relays in there now, and, knock on wood, it's still working great. I just checked the relay holders the other day to make sure that nothing was melting, after reading about some folks' problems with their relays and relay holders.
