Default BAD MISS magicaly appears!

2002 8.1L. So I drove my truck last night. Ran great. Got in it this morning and its missing horrible. Codes says low maf voltage and random multiple missfire. Could it be the MAF? If I disconnect it will the truck run? Just have a cel on? Or is it something else? I'm going to grab some new plugs right now. Any suggestions would be great.

It more than likely won't run if you unhook the MAF. I would try cleaning it with MAF cleaner, and check to make sure all the wiring and plug is fine. Have you changed anything recently on the truck?

Fuel pressure good? Maybe pull crank sensor out and make sure its not visably damaged.

The crankshaft position sensor on the 8.1L is located at the rear of the block, behind the intake manifold, just above the transmission on the drive’s side between the 10 o-clock and 12 o-clock transmission bolts.

OK guys its cylinder 8. Plugs and wires good. Can a coil pack foul up like this. It shows spark but can it not be working COMPLETELY??? I'm going to switch it to 6 cylinder but I can't get to the code reader till Monday. I'm guessing if its not the coil pack ill switch injectors next!
