Default Anyone with coolant probs in '03 Silverados?

I've got a slight coolant leak on my truck. I'm having some problems tracking it down. About every 4-6 weeks I have to top off the tank. I was able to trace it up to just about the top of the oil pan on the passenger side. After that, it's up in the air. I do not see anything coming from the tank itself or the hoses going to/from the radiator. I'm not seeing anything coming from the water pump.

I'm wondering if I don't have a freeze plug leak, even though I'm sure a freeze plug really sprays when it goes. I'm kind of running out of ideas on where to check.

Has anyone had any coolant problems on their '03(or close) Silverados? For reference mine only has 44k on the odo.

Should I just get a pressure test done?

Sorry to hyjack but that reminds me of the worst brake rotor I have ever seen on a car. I was working at a little garage during college for a few months and someone came in with a POS Plymouth duster or something ccomplaining of brake noise. The brake rotor was almost literally reduced to the likes of tin foil. They couldn't afford to have it fixed so we put it back together and off they went. I think cars like that should be impounded it just sucks to know we are out their driving alongside idiots like that everyday.

Alright. I'll investigate further. I never even thought of it. But, that's why I came here because there's a chance that it's a common problem. Anyone working at a dealer know if an extended warranty covers this?
