it is just like that rigged shootout of the hot rod suburu Sti vs. 03 Cobra, both running 13.3s.....if all i could get out of a 03 cobra was 13.3, i would just give up racing. hot rod got a 2.3 best 60' versus the 1.6 60' of the Sti. it was basically the best of one versus the worst of another's launch.

and even smith ran 12.89 in an ls1 intake 99 camaro back in the day for the mags.....so everyone must run 12.8s showroom stock right boys?

also to the retard that thinks nloc is lying? what is going on in that head? you think an entire website is lying? with as many skeptics on the net, you know you cant do anything without someone calling BS. drag racing overall is one big variable with so many conditions and abilities. i have seen ls1 car running 14s all day as well due to bad traction and shity drivers. dont judge so quick and use your head.

or you could just put your money where your mouth is.....

13.15 is the best I could get in my '00 SS Camaro showroom stock. The air was pretty good that night but couldv'e been better.

I think the '01 would've did better but, I only ran stock in the middle of the summer to a 13.34. That was spinning of the line a little on the stock pressure stock F1's.

I think some of the statements in this thread are rediculous. We all know that the DA plays a HUGE role in times so I don't understand why it can't be accepted that a Lightning can run low 13's stock. Just because they don't where your at or when you were at the track doesn't mean they're not capable. I guess in the future we should just all make sure to list the DA so our times can be corrected to standard.

Did I mention

I've seen a few bone stock lightnings run in the high 13's, pretty damn quick.

Wow this thread was over a month old.
