Petty slow for s/c truck if you ask me. The 01+ should .2-.3 quicker.

It's probably a high elevation track....not at sea level where they WILL run 13.2-13.3...

Firebird Raceway, Phoenix AZ, 1100 feet above sea level

This one seemed to do OK.....'99 5.3, Whipple, ASM headers, tuning, 4L60E, and 3.73's

I recently read in Truckin that bone stock lightings run 14.6's so I think these truck had some weight reduction and pro drivers to be pulling even those numbers. Think about what an average guy driving his stock lighting whould run, probably not even close to 13.98

the fastest stock lightning,(keep in mind it was driven from the showroom to the tack) ran a 14.2 when it was 80degrees. I have also seen stock lighting run after the break in period 13.7.

The trucks WERE stock.....but the white one was drivem by a member of the SVT design team (the guys that designed and built the Lightning)
