Default Torsion Bar Guys! QA1/King Coilover Conversion!

After enjoying the awesome ride for only a month or two, I have decided to let go of the coilover conversion. These is a great upgrade for anybody sick of the stiff torsion bar ride. This conversion has been discussed on this forum for awhile and has had great results. The conversion completely replaces the torsion bar system, rides like a dream and loses a ton of wieght in the process. You are able to remove the t-bars, keys and crossmember.

Came off of my 2wd 2002 Silverado 1500HD. Includes all the hardware needed to install and all these parts have less than two months of use.

Parts are in great condition with only two issues. The coil springs have rub marks where they rubbed the upper control arm before I had the truck aligned. One of the shocks is missing the upper bearing mount. I took it out to match it up and somehow misplaced it.

Everything else you need is included. No shopping around, no wait time, good name brand companies...bolt it up and go.

Here is what is included :

1. Pro Comp upper shock adaptor kit : Part # 690001
Also includes upgraded Grade 8 washers and lock nut.

2. QA1 DS501 adjustable coilover shocks with teflon sphearical bearing
mounts. Includes all hardware and spring collars needed for install.

3. King 900lb. coil springs 12x2.5

Price : $485 plus shipping.

Please PM or text me for the best response time : 928-234-6244. Buyer pays paypal fees or sends payment as a gift to avoid fees. Everything is boxed up and ready to go. I can ship same day payment clears.

There seemed to be enough room for the shafts, but since I do not have 4wd I can not say for sure.

I do not have any pics of my truck with this kit installed. I only had the kit on for about 2 months. I installed spacers in between the upper shock mount and the frame to keep my "2 lifted ride height. I could have easily just installed them without spacers and get lower than stock. They are completely adjustable. I would say anywhere between "2 lower than stock up to "2-"3 higher than stock.

id imagine a spring swap would control what ride height you get (lowering wise) to some extent...

Torsion bar is a 4x4 frame even though some were not equipped with 4x4 equipment.
