Yes, that's kind of an important little factoid. While they are physically a plug and play install, without tuning it's going to dump twice as much fuel (literally) as it would normally.

Direct replacement and you will need a retune. Also, you will be able to drive with them if you need to.

Say hello to uber negative fuel trims. I'd be afraid of hydrolocking the engine on fuel.

Why in the world would you need injectors that can push twice the amount of fuel without F/I or a hella motor?

Because the stock injectors become maxxed with a decent cam and exhaust mods. If you can score a set of the 8.1 Marine injectors, it's worth it. You're better off with more injector than not enough.
