Default who has a TR224-112 in a 5.3

Anyone running a TR224-112 in a 5.3? What rpm does it idle at and do you have any sound clips?

Thanks

hey tom. just to throw a lil something in here...
i've been checking out tsp's cams. don't know if any trucks on here have had any experience on them.
if i had the time to experiment, i'd like to try out their 220/.581 or the 224/.581. they can be ordered on a 112 and their xer lobes also.

bump the lift up and take advantage of the increased flow you have with those new heads.

i, like lance, have been eyeballing the 220/.581 also. I think it would be a sweet cam and have great power potential with supporting mods like a good set of heads and an LS6 or FAST 78/90 up top.

the comp XFI lobes look pretty tempting too. have you considered looking at the XFI 214/.600, 218/.590 or .605, or the 224/.600 or .609?

I read somewhere that TSP was claiming an average of 35 rwhp with that high lift 220.

I'm looking at a few cams that will "idle like a TR224-112" . I won't be sporting a TR224, just want to get a feel for what I'm in for.

I've been looking at the 220/.581 and 218/.605/.590 lobes pretty closely and will most likely end up with something in that range with a tight LSA.

I've also been thinking of getting TSP's "Sleeper" cam as they call it (220/220 .581 .581 112), but the cash flow is too slow.

I posted a thread way back about it in the internal engine section w/ some info. If anyone missed it, here is a link... LINK

Bet it work nice w/ some P&P heads and LS2/LS6 intake.
