Whats Up Pep Got S 2001 4.8 Silverado Ext Cab Mac Intake Superchips, Jba Headers, Spintech Exhaust, Do The Mass Air Flow Sensor Really Work, Should I Go 410 Gears , Did 16 Flat On The Quarter Mile Can I Get Some Advice

I would leave the mass air sensor alone. it's not worth the money IMO.
4.10's will help. I would look into a stall, and and gears. you will see the most gains out of that mod.
another cheap mod would be NOS. but i dont know if you want to go that route.
I think it's a quick way to go fast. but I would rather do it on motor. another opinion here tho.

I'd stay away from those aftermarket mass air meters. I did my own little test on them. I borrowed my buddies. I ran my truck at track one night, first with it. Then without it. No differnce. Save your money on that mod.

i really think you should look at swapping in a 6.0. i know the 4.8 has the potential with every bolt on it. but think about it a 6.0 is nearly a 100hp increase of non boosted, non N20 power just good ol reliable stock LQ4/LQ9 add some LT's,stall,tune...and youll be haulin serious ***.
