Sorry I couldn't get this up last night - I'm on dial-up and this thing was just too large.

Here is the WORKING video link Unless I'm used to the old 220-112, it could almost pass as stock, huh?

I noticed that I get KR at low RPM's. Like I said I cleared up the low RPM (1,100) KR at the TCC unlock, by raising the lock/unlock points. I notice that I get it on tip-in from a dead stop. None if I'm real easy, but 8-9* if I just plant my foot. The throttle responce is so quick even when trying to take it easy, that the truck is jerky from a dead stop with the stock converter... so it's kind of hard not to be agressive with the throttle. I'm wondering if I'm getting too much air at idle now - I'll have to play around with things some more. I'm still optimistic, because the cam seems to be responding real well to tuning changes... not to mention I think it'll be completely gone when I get the 2600 stall in (should take that low rpm load off the motor).

I threw 4* more timing at it in the upper RPM's, with no KR. The motor just sings. Roger told me I'd be able to use 28* with the cam - so we'll see. I'm currently at just 23*.

That's all for today's chapter.

Will do. I had a clip at home, but for some reason the motor wasn't responding as quick as it normally does. Maybe because I had it idling for a while (10 minutes?) and the motor and intake was heat-soaked. (high IAT's, lowered timing?).

I'll get one up before the weekend.

Sounds good, Marc. Nice smooth idle, just a hint of lope.

Very nice. I am glad you are happy with it. The lope is very similar to what I have with mine but our cams are close to the same size.

Curious how you installed this. Any advance, or straight up? Doesn't matter if it was ground into the cam itself or degreed in, just curious how it ended up being installed.

Thanks guys...

NA - I installed it dot-to-dot, and I'm quite certain there is 5* advance ground in. (that's not a typo - it's the first time I heard 5* being used too )

Right on man, sounds like you might have a winner. At least in the SOTP department

Hurry and get that thing dyno'd so we can compare dyno sheets. If I can find a small cam that make similar power to the 226 I had but give a more low-end friendly power band then I can have a new Fav. recomendation
