What made you choose the 047? I went and checked out their website and was looking at the 044. It is a 210/218 .531/.531 114LSA. If I remember correctly they are showing the power coming on a little earlier somewhere areound 1700 I believe.
Nice to hear you are so pleased with the gains. I was in the process of looking for a decent torque cam and this has helped me out a lot.

I talked to Roger for a while... I told him I wanted something with tons of torque that'll pull hard to about 6K, and that I won't have to rev out to get good power.
He originally brought up the 045 - 216/222 115, but skipped over that due to me complaining about the power from the 220/220 I had in there. He thougt they would be similar. I forgot exactly what he said the powerband would be like with this cam.
We talked about the 044 as the best, which sounded good with me, but I mentioned the 047 because of the slightly tigher LSA there, and I knew the tighter LSA cams make more midrange torque.
He said the direct difference between the 044 and 047 is that the 044 will extend the torque down by about 200-300rpm, but the 047 will have a more pronounced midrange bump in power. We went with the 047 for the fact that I'll have a stall in there so I don't need it to pull as clean way down low. with that said, I think that's where my slight sub 1,500 softness comes from. I imagine it would be almost non-existant with the 044.
With a 5.3 or 4.8, I "think" the 044 would be best for use on a stock converter - I think the 6.0 eats up the 047 enough to not have any pressing issues with the tigher LSA down low.
I had a FL member email me about his 044 cam an 1.89 rocker install. I'll point him to this thread and see if he'll chime in.
EDIT - that's 1.89 rocker, not 1.79.

I couldn't be happier with this thing. It's tame enough to drive close to stock, but really kick you in the pants when you get on it.
I think if you want instant off-idle torque, and just want an all around stronger powerband, the 044 would be great.

I heard that it's pretty awesome. The Corvette guys like it - I read a few reviews on something like corvetteforum.com. The guy I mentioned above is running it...
The cam is on sale for $370.
