Default Tuff muff

Finally.
I had a 5x8x24" magnaflow on for a week, when i left the muffler shop i knew it was coming back off because of the brain hemorhaging drone.I just had a flopro 9x12HD dual 3" in Single 3" out which goes right into 3.5 mandrel into the 3.5" stock HD tailpipe. No drone, nice tone and good flow.I think this muffler with dual outs would sound real nice.Mine has a pretty mild tone ,just a little more tone & deeper than the OE SS muffler,I know if i remove the cats it will have plenty of tone.So for those who can except less tone for no resonence then i recommend this muff.

OK, finally got a muffler you like. No drone is the best thing I've heard in a long time.

L82, here is the 3" dual in / 2.5" dual out HD muffler. I heard it on a Silv SS and it was mild. It had good tooone outside, but nice and quiet inside. Notice the big HD size case:

I still cant figure out how i got it for $175 installed with mandrel bended 3.5 going out.Another shop quoted me $240 and they do just average work, maybe a difference in suppliers or this guy just wanted to try one out.The flopro HD muffler with duals out would make an awesome sound i just know it for the guy looking for more tone.

Looks good. I might think about that.
My set up is quiet on the highway but does have drone under load between 1500 and 2krpms while driving in town. Gets on you after a while and I put a easy 125 miles a day during the week.

FloPro also makes this muffler for the 4.8L & 5.3L engines.

http://www.flopro.com/FP2500oval.htm
For the 5.3 use PN 2501
I used PN 2503
