Question bout to change muff need opinion

ok, i am kinda tired of the flowmaster sound and have been looking for some time to change my muff to a magnaflow. i am looking at the dual in dual out and prefer to get one with the x in the middle. it can be loud and i think the first one is gonna be loud.

so far here are two that i am in the midst of deciding to get

this one is 2.5 in and out and is a small case with the X https://www.justmagnaflow.com/cgi-bin/shopper.exe link not working!!!!

this one is 3" in and out with a larger case but no x
https://www.justmagnaflow.com/cgi-bin/shopper.exe link not working so don't bother clicking it

right now i have a single in flowmaster with dual out dumped.
mods are
01 5.3, Y cam, pulley, pred, cai, free mods, servo, plugs n wires, p&p tb, efans, 4.10 g80, 160 stat and some other crap but i can't remember.

I would go with like a magnaflow bullet muffler-i couldnt open the website in your link but thats just my opinion. Its a free flowing exhaust and doesnt have alot of backpressure like the flowmaster and it gives you power throughout the rpm band not just down low like the flowmaster. I also have the flowmaster(tru duals)but am looking at doing the bullet muffler when i do my radix and dynatechs!!!!!!!!Just my .02

if i did the bullet muffler would it be wise to add two or is one sufficient? i just went and looked at the round mufflers and they have a 6" round 14" long with 3" in and out. i wonder how that sounds?

youre losing alot with the flowmaster
I had single in dual out dumped flowmaster and ran 9.7 in the 1/8
took it off at the Y and ran 9.5
put on an x pipe and 2 x 2.5 magnaflow and ran 9.5
its not near as loud as the flowmasterd but comes alive at wot
actually about sleeper loud
IMO the 2.5 is enough
but curious as to how the 3"s wouldve done-- and sounded

The bullet style muffler will be loud but have that deep aggressive tone everyone likes. If you eventually add headers its gonna be even louder but the power should be kickass and you can really see the improvments over the flow. I like my flows but they are not good for my setup actually will rob me of mid-upper power once the radix and headers go on. Hopefully this helps you out.
