Default Time for new exhaust for the 6.0

It's time for some change. My tail pipes have rusted out and dumped in front of the axle is too loud.

My setup has been Doug Thorley Try-Y headers, gutted cats, Delta 50 SUV, and 2 1/2" tails exiting out the back. I had to go with the Delta 50 SUV to get rid of the drone. It worked. Now my tail pipes have rusted out and are gone. So I'm left with turn downs. I love the sound, but it's too loud in the cab.

I'm curious if I could go with a long straight through bullet with a turn down and loose some sound inside the cab while still sounding great out the back. It's hard to imagine how a straight through muffler could be quieter in the cab, but I know how you guys love the bullets. Don't forget that I'm not running your typical 40 series FM, but a much larger FM. Here are the mufflers I'm looking it. Magaflow, Jones Truck Series, Jones Turb Tube.

If all these options are going to be too loud for me, I'll be going with an all new stainless catback system. Do you recommend dual 2 1/2" tails, or a single 3" all the way back? Magnaflow duals, Single. There are many others, so tell me which ones you recommend. I'm also very intrigued with the GMPP performance catback. I believe this is actually a rebadged Borla system.

I swapped out my di/do flowmaster for a di/do magaflow.. The flowmaster had a more chopper idle, but it hurt my street performance. The magaflow has terrible drone cuisine around town, but I picked up some street performance.

My exhaust is 3" thru the muffler & y'd behind the muffler into a single 3.5" tailpipe

I have a big single magnaflow exited out the rear. i think its the 22" it sounds nice at wot but not too loud. mellow when cruising. i have a 3" cutout also so i can make it really loud when i want or for the track. i vote for a big magnalfow but run it out the back. anything dumped is gonna drone in the cab except if you maybe ran a bullet or resonator and then a muffler in series.

so by changing mufflers you really think you got a seat-of-the-pants performance gain? funny.

I've decided that I'm going with an all new stainless catback. I'm seriously considering the GMPP system that's made by Borla. Any better options out there? I can get this one for about $520.
