When I got my sts tuned for 5.5lbs, it lost some power from a dig from factory stock even though it stalled at 2000. It is a 4wd though so it's about 500 lbs heavier. I mean it was a dog out of the hole with 3.42's, ran a 10.39 stock, sts with ls6 cam- 9.54, switched to 4.10's- 8.90, 3000 converter and 8lbs.- 8.11.... later 7.64. I have never regreted the purchase.

Blow Da Tires Off!!
Thats what mine use to do...
Sittin at idle, let off brake and nail the gas... it would finally catch traction around 80 or top of second..
IT wasnt fun racing on the street, i could roll into it to 30 or so before goin WOT or else it would

Some times when i could get traction in 1st it would hit 2nd gear so hard the speedo would spike from 50-65.. haha I like the 80E except that 60' sucks..

You could probably sell your tuner ebay. You could get at least $300 for it. Just make sure you reinstall you factory tune before you sell it. If you don't the person who gets it won't be able to use it. That is the biggest concern people have buying used predators. Just emphasize in your description that you guarantee you have installed the stock tune back to your truck and the new owner won't have any troubles. I'm getting ready to sell my 08 5.3 predator. Going with a procharger and a custom tune.

well i dont think its gonna be worth it to me if i have to put factory tune back in. i spent 340 bucks getting a custom tune to the truck as well but its downloaded on the programmer as the 93 octane tune? so if i sell it go back to stock tune, i lose the custom tune as well? if thats the case then i will lose 450 bucks if i sold it for 300 guess ill just keep the retarded thing.
