You wont have any complaints of the Eaton.

I have a stock TC with a 4l80E and 3.42s.. it kills your 60's but it will skat from a roll.
a Stall will eat your gas mileage some. and the stock TC for the 80 is fairly loose..

The eaton should do the job, but that still leaves the tranny, 60e's dont like power and they dont like weight your pushing both.

lady3bglover, your 112lsa might make it hard to make boost, usaually want to be 114+ if i remember correctly or the boost goes straight through

4l60Es are a shot in the dark... look what KBracing96 has done with his.. and TreverT1...
but ive had issues and only ran a 13.3 in a 5100lb truck..

Id say save up for a 4L80E and be ready when the time comes.

I got sick of them so i went with a 80E.

oh yeah im a big supporter of the ole 80e ive seen what it can hold up too, i sold my camaro because i knew the 60e wasnt going to hold to my beating, now with my truck i need to figure something out im thinking 65, because im light

Im conserative as well, but i just like trying things and if they dont work ill buy something else or if they work well enough to break other things on my truck, i just beef up the things it broke. Every F'in dime i put into my truck i use as a write-off on taxes for my business. Its basically my "frankenstein" work truck

well i definately hear you guys with the 80e, im gonna get one before i put in the sts kit. when i remove my 60, im gonna put it for sale with about 65k on it. what should i be able to get for it, like $500?
