thats a whole diferent subject, i would recomend staying with a mild cam if you plan to tow, lower gears would help a ton for towing and make a bigger cam less of an issue.

Lets get back on the REAL topic <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Does anybody have a recommendation as far as a brand and a part number for a lock up converter? My truck pulls a race car once in a while but I want some performance! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> Truck is as follows: 95 Extended cab, 383 ci,Vortec Heads,headers, edelbrock multi point, small FMS roller cam -300 rwhp on the dyno.

i am not sure a about others but around here we know alot about ls1 derived drivelines. since you don't have and ls1 it may be hard to get answer. best i can do is sugest you give these guys a call and see what works. http://www.converter.cc/
