For those of you who may be curious, the truck has an LQ4 with a TSP 228R cam.

Got mine 90% installed today. Have an extra piece almost like an s left over. No idea where it goes and don't have any stock rubber for hangers. My header on driver side touches my front drive shaft. I ordered 8 nice clamps from summit need 13. Had a manifold bolt broken off back driver side not sure how long it's been broken but found a fix for it ordered. Sounded pretty good. Little quieter than expected but the exhaust leak hard to tell. Maybe one day next week have some pictures and sound

Our X-Pipe kits are for both the 99-06 and 07-13. You will use one of the two elbows supplied depending on the year of your vehicle. The other elbow will be extra. As for the driveshaft, throw some new GM motor mounts in it. That should resolve your clearance issues.

Thank you guys again. Pictures look great..

Unhappy

So I've read this post in its entirety before making my purchase. Placed my order for 2002 Silverado 1500HD crew cab. Coming into this install I already knew I was gonna have to extend to straight pipes, but then this happened. I'm having lots of issues. So disappointed.

There was no other elbow. I extended the elbow that was sort but now when I tighten everything up the pass header won't seal against the head.

Wrong elbow, headers need to be fully bolted to heads first and foremost. Assemble y pipe with longer elbow loosely, loosen muffler connect y pipe to muffler flange. Start back at the headers adjusting out all the gaps and snugging pipes together used LAP BAND CLAMPS!! @ least. If I could do it over when I had the y - pipe I would have just bought the headers and had the y made. Ball and flange kit,$99.00 steel pipe trip to muffler shop$200.??? Thinking about it take a ratchet strap across the headers and pull together the y pipe then tighten it down. I found out that is y my passenger header sat on the frame I also had a good leak at the center connection of y. After I installed the true duals header no longer touches, still running the infamous anchor mounts. I think the other elbow is for 4X4??
