Default S&S Tri-Y 24'' headers

I thought some of you might be interested.

99-01 PU/SUV
1 3/4''
Tri-Y
#5291
374.25

02-04 PU/SUV
1 3/4''
Tri-Y
#5292
$374.25
The LS1 truck header is about 24" tube length & has the S&S Tri-Y collectors on it to get a broader power band with more torque.
This is a little shorter than I would like, but that's all I could squeeze in there & still tie into the stock cats.
The header is all 16 guage tubing with 3/8" laser cut flanges & heliarked on the gasket side. The first production run should be ready in May.

Since we are not allowed to list websites, go to Google... S&S headers.

I'm trying to find out more info. I'll post anything that I come across.

would these be considered short or mid length tubes? does it require welding and modification to the y-pipe?

i am looking for some cheaper long tubes too and i guess you can use thorley's for up to '01 silverados on the newer silverados...something about egr has to be changed though...i'm not quite sure.

I'm guessing they are referring to the egr valve.

Mine had an egr valve on the passengers side header. I removed the egr system, so I installed a block off valve that I purchased from LS1 speed. That is all you would have to do.

Yours should not have an egr system that connects to the exhaust manifold nor intake manifold.
